Design Story

The upper is organised in horizontal stripes that wrap the toe cap and continue across the side panels, so the eye travels sideways rather than up. Pale fields act as negative space, letting the orange bands register as accents instead of noise. A leaping dolphin motif and a small helmet emblem marked MIA sit as the visual anchors on the outer panel, placed low and off-centre, which keeps the hierarchy calm. Sculpted fin shapes rise from the strap zone and break the silhouette's curve — the one moment of real tension in an otherwise flat, graphic composition. Lettering reading GO FINS on the heel strap closes the loop.
