Design Story

The composition is anchored by an oversized navy block M, outlined in maize, sitting high on the outer side panel where the curve of the clog gives it the most presence. Around it, the upper is treated in a pale silver-grey with faint linear scoring, which keeps the surface quiet and lets the logo hold full visual weight. Diagonal maize and navy ribbons sweep from the toe cap back toward the heel, introducing direction without noise, while speckled texture breaks the solid blocks and adds rhythm at the lower edge. The navy heel strap carries MICHIGAN in maize serif lettering, with a circular M medallion at the pivot - a small, deliberate counterpoint to the large side graphic. Left and right mirror cleanly, so the pair reads as one continuous design when worn.

Wear & Styling

The grey sole grounds the brighter upper and stops the palette from tipping into costume. Perforations fall in the negative space rather than through the logo, preserving the graphic hierarchy on a curved form. Styled with shorts, joggers or denim, it stays easy and casual while still functioning as statement footwear.
